This website is an informational and fundraising site for Seelanatha Devagiri Maha Viharaya, a Buddhist temple in Polgampola, Kalutara District, Sri Lanka. Its content — ceremony details, project descriptions, item lists, and prices — is provided in good faith and kept up to date as best as the temple and its volunteers are able.
Every donation or sponsorship described on this site is a voluntary religious offering, arranged directly with the temple by phone, WhatsApp, or bank transfer — never through an online payment gateway on this site. Prices shown are the temple's best current figures and may change; items marked “Contact for pricing” have not yet been finalized.
Projects such as the 20,000 Arahant Monks Statue installation are long-term undertakings. The temple makes no guarantee of a specific completion date, and will share progress through updates on the site as they become available.
Content is presented in both Sinhala and English for the convenience of local and diaspora devotees. If the two ever appear to say different things, please contact the temple directly to confirm the correct meaning rather than relying on either version alone.
